Download in batches

Select several image, video, or audio nodes and download their source files to your computer in one action.

When you need to save several images, video clips, or audio files from the canvas, select them together and download them in one action.

Batch download uses the source file currently shown by each node. When the selection contains several different files, Creative OS packages them before downloading. If only one downloadable file remains, that file downloads directly.

1. Select the nodes

Use either method:

  • Hold Shift and click each node you want to download;
  • Drag a selection box from an empty part of the canvas.

After you select at least two nodes, the batch action Toolbar appears above the selection. If the selection contains a downloadable image, video, or audio file, the batch download button appears there.

2. Start the download

  1. Select the image, video, or audio nodes you want to save;
  2. Find the download icon in the Toolbar above the selection;
  3. Select Batch download;
  4. Follow packaging and download progress in the transfer panel;
  5. When the download finishes, open the file from your computer's Downloads folder.

Batch download media nodes from the canvas

Once the download button enters a loading state, wait for the current task to finish. Selecting it again does not create a duplicate download task.

3. What gets downloaded

Batch download supports nodes that already have a source file:

  • Image nodes;
  • Video nodes;
  • Audio nodes.

Text nodes, empty nodes, and nodes that are still generating do not have downloadable files and are skipped. If a selection contains both media and text nodes, Creative OS downloads only the available media.

If several nodes use the same source file, Creative OS downloads that file once so the archive does not contain duplicates.

4. Download a group

If you already placed several items in one group:

  1. Select the group;
  2. Find the download icon in the group Toolbar;
  3. Select it and wait for the transfer to finish.

Group download reads image, video, and audio nodes on the first level of the current group. Content nested inside another group is not included. To download it, open that group separately or move the nodes into the current group first.

5. If the download button is missing

Check:

  1. At least two nodes are selected;
  2. The selection contains an image, video, or audio node;
  3. Each media node has finished generating or uploading;
  4. The content can be previewed or played;
  5. No download task is already running on the page.

To download one file, open its node and use the node's own download action.
