Create with your team

Move a personal canvas to your team space so other members can open it, edit it, and follow one another's view.

When you move a personal canvas to your team space, everyone on that team can open the same canvas. They see the same nodes, connections, and Agent outputs, and their changes are saved there.

1. Move a canvas to your team

  1. Open Personal canvases on the canvas home page.
  2. Find the canvas you want to share.
  3. Select ···, then choose Move to team.
  4. Check the destination team and confirm.
  5. Switch to Team canvases and open the canvas.

You can also open Share in the upper-right corner of the canvas and choose Move to team.

Once moved, everyone on the current team can edit the canvas. Remove any material that should not be visible to the full team before you move it.

2. See who is on the canvas

When several people have the same team canvas open, Creative OS shows the active participants.

Select a participant avatar to open the collaboration list. It shows:

  • everyone currently viewing the canvas;
  • your own account;
  • teammates whose view you can follow.

The list updates as people enter or leave.

3. Follow a teammate

On a large canvas, following someone is the quickest way to see what they are presenting or editing:

  1. Open the collaboration list.
  2. Find the teammate.
  3. Select Follow.
  4. Your canvas view moves with the area they are viewing.
  5. Select Stop to browse independently again.

Use Spotlight me when you want to guide the group through a part of the canvas. Teammates who accept the invitation will follow your view.

Following only synchronizes the viewport. It does not select, move, or edit nodes for you.

4. What happens during live editing

When someone moves a node, changes text, or adds content, other active participants see the update. The save status at the top of the canvas changes between Saving… and Saved to cloud.

If the collaboration connection drops, Creative OS tries to reconnect. When the page shows Reconnecting…, pause your edits. Continue after the connection returns and the canvas reports that it is saved.

5. Move a team canvas back to personal

Only the canvas creator can change its team-sharing state.

Open Share in the upper-right corner and choose Move to personal. After you confirm, the canvas returns to your personal canvas list and team members can no longer access it.
