Renewal & discounts
Learn why a one-time manual renewal is required, how unissued benefits become a discount, and how to keep your current renewal price.
Complete one manual renewal to continue keeping your current discounted price.
1. Why do I need to manually renew once?
Due to changes in our payment channels, we have upgraded the payment channel for some teams. Please complete one renewal before your plan expires.
If you do not renew in time, the following may occur:
- Your plan may no longer renew automatically after it expires.
- Your lifetime discounted price may expire, and you may no longer be able to renew at this special price.
- If you purchase again later, you may need to pay the real-time official website price, which may change based on market compute costs.
2. After renewal
After completing this renewal, your team will be able to:
- Lock in the lifetime discounted price.
- Keep all credits already issued under the current plan permanently valid.
- Receive the new plan benefits immediately.
- Upgrade the payment method for more stable future renewals.
3. How are renewal fees and benefits handled?
The system will use your most recently purchased plan as the renewal basis. You will renew based on that plan’s price, benefits, and duration. Any unissued benefits from your current plan will be converted into a renewal discount. This allows you to purchase a complete new plan at a lower cost.
Issued credits from the current plan remain permanently valid
Credits that have already been issued under your current plan will not be cleared. You can continue using them, and they will not be affected by this renewal.
Unissued credits are automatically converted into a renewal discount
Credits from your current plan that have not yet been issued will not be wasted. The system will automatically convert them into a renewal discount on the payment page and apply the discount directly to the new plan price. After the discount is applied, you only need to pay the remaining balance.
New plan benefits are issued immediately
After the renewal is successful, the new plan credits will be issued immediately and can be used by your team right away.
The new plan includes a full benefit cycle
This renewal purchases a complete new plan. Monthly plans include a full 1-month benefit cycle starting from the renewal success date. Annual plans include a full 12-month benefit cycle starting from the renewal success date. The cycle will not be shortened because of the discount.
4. How to complete the renewal
You can click Renew Now from an in-app message or the Team Benefits page to enter the renewal page.
Steps:
- Open the in-app message and click the Renew Now button in the lower-right corner.
- Go to the Team Benefits page to view your current plan. If there is no active plan, the renewal will be based on your most recently purchased plan. Click Renew to Lock Discount to continue.
- Review the original price and benefits of this renewal plan, then click Confirm Renewal.
- On the payment page, review the final amount due. The discount amount will be shown under Promo Details.
- After payment succeeds, the Team Benefits page will show the new plan name and the new validity period. The new benefits will be issued immediately. You can also go to Billing Records to view the credits issued for the current month under the new plan.
5. FAQ
1. I already have a plan. Why do I need to renew once?
This renewal is not a duplicate purchase of the same old benefits. It is used to update your future renewal method and continue keeping your current discounted price.
2. Will my current credits be cleared?
No. Credits that have already been issued will be kept and remain permanently valid.
3. What are unissued benefits?
Unissued benefits are the future benefits under your current plan that have not yet been credited to your account.
For example, if you purchased the Pro 6K Tapies Annual Plan, and credits are issued monthly, then if 5 months of credits have not yet been issued, the credits for those 5 months are considered unissued benefits.
4. What is the renewal discount shown on the payment page?
The system will automatically convert the unissued benefits from your current plan into a renewal discount and apply it directly to the new plan price.
For example, if you purchased the Pro 6K Annual Plan at the original price of $540, the monthly value is $45, with 6,000 Tapies issued each month. If 5 months of benefits have not yet been issued, the system will convert those 5 months into a $225 renewal discount. These unissued credits will no longer be issued separately.
When you renew, this $225 discount will be automatically applied to the new plan price. If the new plan price is $540, you only need to pay $315 for this renewal.
5. Can I wait until my plan expires before renewing?
We do not recommend it. After your plan expires, the original automatic renewal method may no longer work, and your current discounted price may no longer be retained. We recommend completing the renewal before your plan expires.
6. My plan has already expired. Can I still renew?
If the renewal entry is still displayed on the page, it means we have temporarily kept your exclusive renewal eligibility. You will be able to renew the benefits of your most recently held plan. We recommend completing the renewal as soon as possible to avoid missing this discount.
7. What should I do if payment fails?
Click Renew Now again and try once more. If payment fails multiple times, please contact our support team through the community or by email.
