Add a custom connector

Add the TapNow connection address in any Agent that accepts a custom MCP connector, authorize once, and generate images and videos directly in the conversation.

If your Agent lets you enter an MCP connector yourself, add TapNow once with the steps below. After you authorize it, you can ask for a TapNow generation inside any conversation.

Claude

  1. Open Settings in Claude and go to Connectors.
  2. Select Add custom connector.
  3. Enter TapNow as the name and the connection address above.
  4. Save, then select Connect on the connector. Your browser opens the TapNow authorization page.
  5. Sign in with your TapNow account and approve. Return to Claude once the page confirms.

ChatGPT

  1. Open Settings in ChatGPT and go to Connectors.
  2. Add a connector with the name TapNow and the connection address above.
  3. Save, then complete the browser authorization with your TapNow account.

Menu positions in Claude and ChatGPT change with the version and the interface language, so follow what you see on screen. If you cannot find the entry, search settings for "Connectors".

Confirm it works

Back in the conversation, send:

Check whether the TapNow connector is available and list my recent TapNow canvases.

A list of your canvases means the connection is live. If the Agent reports that it cannot find TapNow tools, return to settings and confirm the connector shows as connected.

Ask in your own words. Three things make the result better: what you want, what to work from, and where it will be used.

Use TapNow to generate a product hero image: a white ceramic mug on a light wood table, natural light from the right, clean background. Square 1:1, for an e-commerce listing. Send me the canvas link when it is done.

For a set, say what it is for and the Agent picks the right method:

Here is my product photo. Use TapNow to create an e-commerce shot set with a white-background image, a scene image and a detail image, for Xiaohongshu. Tell me what each one is for.

Authorization and accounts

Authorization applies to the TapNow account and team you signed in with. Generation spends that account's Tapies, and results land in that account's canvas.

If you switch between teams, the team you chose during authorization decides where results land. To change it, switch team in TapNow and authorize again.

Do not share the connection address as a credential

The address itself carries no identity, but an authorized connector can generate content and spend Tapies as you. Do not leave an authorized connector on a shared device.

Common questions

The authorization page does not open. Check whether your browser blocked the pop-up. Some clients open the page in a new tab, and a blocked tab gives no visible warning.

The Agent cannot find TapNow tools. Confirm the connector shows as connected, then confirm you entered the connection address above rather than the TapNow website address.

A generation never returns. Images usually take between fifteen and thirty seconds; video takes longer. Ask the Agent to check again, or open the canvas link and watch progress in TapNow.

It says there are not enough Tapies. Generation spends your TapNow account's Tapies. Check the balance in Manage Tapies and plans.
