Join an Arena event
Read the event rules, then complete the required registration and submission steps.
Arena hosts themed events for the TapNow community. Each event has its own schedule, creative brief, entry limit, and work requirements.
Open the event page before you start creating. Its rules tell you what you can submit, when submissions close, and whether you need to register first.
Check how the event works
Arena events generally use one of two entry flows:
| Button on the event page | What to do |
|---|---|
| Submit now | Once submissions open, choose an existing work or publish and submit a new one |
| Register now | Complete the registration form first. You can submit after your registration is approved and the event opens |
For registration-based events, the button shows Pending while your application is reviewed. Once approved, it shows Waiting to start until submissions open.
Read the event rules
Before entering, check:
- the event start time and submission deadline;
- the creative brief, available tracks, and judging information;
- requirements such as video duration;
- the maximum number of entries per creator;
- whether registration is required and what information it asks for;
- prizes, result announcements, and any other event terms.
Requirements vary by event. The event page and the rules displayed there are the source of truth for that Arena.
How to enter
- Open the Arena event you want to join.
- Read the event overview and rules.
- If the page shows Register now, submit the form and wait for approval.
- Once submissions are open, select Submit now.
- Choose a work you have already published to TapTV, or publish a new work from the submission window.
- If the event has tracks, choose the one that best fits your work.
- Review the work and event details, then submit.
Return to the event page after submitting. Your work and its submission status should appear there when it has entered the event flow.
Why is submission unavailable?
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Coming soon | Submissions have not opened |
| Pending | Your registration is being reviewed |
| Waiting to start | Your registration is approved, but submissions have not opened |
| Full | You have reached the event's entry limit |
| Submissions closed | The event has moved to judging and no longer accepts entries |
| Event ended | The event is over |
If the page reports an invalid video duration or missing work details, update the work to match the current event rules and submit again. If a registration is rejected, you can revise and resubmit it while registration remains open.
